Change the content of any website!

Want to have some fun with another website? Maybe CNN.com, Foxnews.com, CDC.gov....

Don't get excited. You can't actually permanently change their content. However, you can change it long enough to take a screen shot and send it to someone. Or call someone over to your computer and see what you've changed it to. I've gotten a few (less tech savvy) people a little nervous when they saw their name on an article on the homepage of CNN.

To do this,

1. Go to the website you want to change.

2. Copy and paste the following code into the address bar and hit 'Return':

javascript:document.body.contentEditable='true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0

3. Select any of the information in the website and change it. Play around... you can change pretty much everything! Once you navigate away from the page, your changes will no longer be there. So be sure to take a screen shot of your changes to get an unsuspecting coworker or friend in a little harmless prank!
