With today's technology, it is becoming more and more possible to rig technologies together and try out some fun things. I recently figured out how I could keep an eye on my dog at home by using my work computer and my home computer.


As a graphic designer, online applications such as www.logmein.com come in handy when I need to do work from home. The site gives you the ability to connect to your home computer from work or visa versa.

Use your iPod touch as your phone and save $$$

When I read this CNN article, I was very proud that the nerd featured was from Milwaukee... just 20 minutes down the road from me! He has figured out how to use his iPod Touch like a phone at a fraction of the cost of smartphone plans. It does involve being clever and utilizing various tools available via apps, MiFi, Google, Skype, etc. But still, well worth it when you see the savings!
