Use your iPod touch as your phone and save $$$

When I read this CNN article, I was very proud that the nerd featured was from Milwaukee... just 20 minutes down the road from me! He has figured out how to use his iPod Touch like a phone at a fraction of the cost of smartphone plans. It does involve being clever and utilizing various tools available via apps, MiFi, Google, Skype, etc. But still, well worth it when you see the savings!
